I grew-up in Ohio (Cincinnati and Columbus areas). I lived in Pittsburgh for 5 years before moving to Charlotte in 1995. I've been married for 30 years and have two children. My husband works for Duke Engery as a Nuclear Engineer. He enjoys kiteboarding whenever we can get to the beach. My daughter also works for Duke Engery and has been married for 8 years to her high school sweetheart Dallas. My son Noah is going to be a junior this year. He enjoyings playing baseball where he is a left handed pitcher. I'm also a "GiGI" to a Dawson who turned 1 in May. She's my pride and joy. I love spending time with her and when I have down time I enjoy reading and sitting on the beach.
Teaching is my second career. I began teaching in 1998 here at Blythe. I started as a Literacy Teacher and then moved to 4th grade. I've been here since the year the school opened.
